The GARNET,a 85% waveless mattress, was designed for a
superior level of reduced motion providing all of the comfort and
benefits of flotation sleep with a very small amount of water
movement.                                    
The FLOATING FIBER SYSTEM in this mattress consists of FOUR
layers of 2" resin-bonded non-woven polyester fiber with a layer
of 1/8" foam between the top two and the bottom two layers of
fiber.
The FLOATING FIBER SYSTEM in this collection is an intricate
combination of layers of fiber and foam that are joined together
by COMPLETELY SEWING AROUND THE PERIMETER forming a
single free floating unit.  The system floats to the top of the
mattress without restriction of tethering, preventing problems
with extra stress on the vinyl in places that are most vulnerable
to stress.  The floating system also makes filling and draining
possible without the fiber and foam bunching up.

The corners of the GARNET are a double reinforced lap seam
providing extra protection to the sensitive corner seams and a
perfect fit in the waterbed frame.  

The reinforced corners have an additional benefit as an ideal
sheet grip to keep unruly waterbed sheets in place
