intricate combination of layers of fiber and foam that are
joined together by COMPLETELY SEWING AROUND
THE PERIMETER forming a single free floating unit.
The system floats to the top of the mattress without
restriction of tethering, preventing problems with extra
stress on the vinyl in places that are most vulnerable to
stress. The floating system also makes filling and
draining possible without the fiber and foam bunching
up.
The corners of the GEM Collection are a double
reinforced lap seam providing extra protection to the
sensitive corner seams and a perfect fit in the waterbed
frame. The reinforced corners have an additional benefit
as an ideal sheet grip to keep unruly waterbed sheets in
place.
