| Parents that enjoy the benefits of flotation sleep can now provide the same benefits and comfort for their baby. The "SMALL WAVES" Baby Crib waterbed mattress, was designed to answer the weight concerns of crib manufacturers and to provide safety and comfort for the baby. It is a complete flotation unit that fits all standard size cribs without any modifications. The "SMALL WAVES" mattress is a contained unit which consists of: A hardwood and foam base with a formed pocket in the foam. The three many water mattresses lie inside the pocket and are covered with a high peek convoluted foam topper. The entire unit is held in a juvenile print PVC vinyl zippered protective cover. Dimensions are 27 1/2" x 52". To reduce the amount of water from gallons to quarts and to reduce the weight of a single mattress, each mini mattress contains only 3 quarts of water. Both of the polyurethane foam sections meet the requirements of the California Bureau of Home Furnishings (Bltn.# 117-75). The material used for the protective cover has a tested permanent anti-bacterial treatment and is listed with the California Fire Marshall as Flame Resistant. Added comfort and support is provided by the high peak convoluted foam topper that redistributes baby's body weight and hundreds of air pockets created by the convolution increases air circulation, keeping baby warmer in winter and cooler in summer and is a safe alternative to a heater. |
